This is the last Will and Testament of me, Duncan Forbes of New Glasgow (West side) in the County of Pictou, Blacksmith.

I appoint John U. Ross, of Pictou, in the County of Pictou Barrister at law, and Hubert L. Fraser of said New Glasgow Farmer Executor and Trustees of this my Will

I give devise and bequeath to my wife Ellen Forbes all the *essuages and lot of land whereon I reside together with all the household and kitchen furniture and furnishings.

I give and bequeath to my brother Roderick Forbes the sum of One thousand dollars.

I give and bequeath to my sister Barbara Forbes the sum of Five hundred dollars. All the residue and remainder of my estate of whatsoever nature and kind and wheresoever situate I give devise and bequeath to my wife the aid Ellen Forbes absolutely to her own use.

In WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto my hand subscribed to this my will this twelfth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and six.
