Will of Henry Flavin, deceased
Certified Copy for Reg of Deeds
I, Henry Flavin of Pictou in the County of Pictou, Shoemaker, do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament.
I hereby/ make and appoint D. Cooper Henderson, Merchant, and Nicholas Roach, Tobacco Worker, both of Pictou aforesaid, to be the executors and trustees of this my Will.
I give and bequeath to my brother James Flavin all my wearing apparel and my trunks.
I give and bequeath to Ezra Henderson son of D. Cooper Henderson above named my gold watch and chain.
I will and direct that my executors above named as soon as convenient after my death shall sell and convert into money either by private sale , tender or public auction as to them shall seem most to the advantage of my estate, all my real and personal property of whatever nature and kind not hereinbefore disposed of and out of the monies arising from such sale or conversion shall pay to my sister Mamie the wife of Frank Woolcott, Hamilton, Ont., the sum of five hundred dollars ($500) and shall pay to my sister Mrs. Taft the sum of one hundred dollars ($100).
All the residue and remainder of my estate of whatsoever nature and kind I give and bequeath to the Pictou Cottage Hospital Trust.
I further will and direct that my trustees may postpone the sale of my real estate or any part thereof for a period of two years if they shall think fit and that they may continue existing tenancies or make new contracts for letting the whole or any portion of my real estate for any time not exceeding the said period of two years from the time of my death.
In Witness Whereof I have my hand subscribed to this my will this twelfth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and ten.

I John D. McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Henry Flavin late of Pictou in the County of Pictou Shoemaker deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the sixth day of February AD 1911.
