Tintype of woman identified as Catherine Forbes Fraser.

Catherine 'Katie' Forbes was born in November 1833, and married to John Fraser, born 1824, Beauly, Scotland.  Their eight known children were: John Forbes, Annie, Alexander Hugh, Smith Cox, Catherine Margaret, Alfred Jesse Hoyt, James William and Daniel W. 

Catherine Forbes Fraser died 28 July 1903 in Bridgeville, Nova Scotia.
