Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds

In the name of God, Amen

I Duncan Falconer being infirm of bodily health but of sound disposing mind and memory and convinced that all have once to die do make this my last will and testament

1st. I devise my body committed to the earth- dust to dust- the Spirit - I covenant with God who gave it while I hurt within mercy of Jesus Christ for the remission of my Sins and hope for a glorious *** *** beyond death and the grace through him who is the resurrection and the life

2 I give devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife as Guardian of my son until he attains the legal age of twenty one years the house and premises owned and occupied by me together with all the personal with house and property I may die possessed of. When my son Edwin attains the legal age he is to become proprietor

3 I give devise and bequeath unto my daughter Wilhena that portion of land lying between the Railroad and the boundaries of land of John McIntosh on the South side of my property as her portion of my estate. The residue of my property to become part of my beloved son Edwin when he attains the age of twenty one

4 I order and charge my son Edwin to support and comfortably keep my beloved wife during her natural life, provide all necessary food and raiment and medical aid if required in health and sickness to provide to treat her with kindness as an affectionate parent and loving mother. In the event of her widowhood of my beloved partner ceasing then I devise my son to be relieved of making any further provision for her

5 I give devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife all money I die possessed of for her use benefit and behoof forever together with such household furniture as she may require if she occupies a separate apartment of the domicile

6 I devise that such part of the moveable property as may not be required by the family after my death be disposed of and the proceeds placed in Bank to the credit and in the name of my son Edwin

I hereby appoint my beloved wife sole executrix of this my last will and testament Dated at Stellarton this twentieth day of Sept. 1881.

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Duncan Falconer late of Stellarton in the said County Mason deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 10th day of November 1900.
