Mr John Priest

Saugatuck, Michigan, US

December 25th, 1876

John Priest, brother of Phoebe Priest Dobson, and uncle to Phoebe's daughter, Charlotte Dobson who married Samuel Little.

John was born in the 1830's to Noah and Prudence Smith Priest. He had at least two brothers, Caleb and Joshua Priest.

He emigtrated to Allegan, Michigan about 1855 and enlisted in the Third Michigan Cavalry.

John married Mary Annesley on 24 December 1867 at Saugatuck. They had a daughter, Mary Ann.

John Priest died at Saugatuck at the age of 85, May 1922.
