Estate of James Cumming late of East River, deceased, Testate

Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

I James Cumming of East Branch East River County of Pictou, Province of Nova Scotia and Dominion of Canada, Yeoman, Being of Sound mind and good memory, do make and deliver this my last Will and Testament.

1st. I will and request That my funeral expenses and all my legal debts be paid out of my personal property left by me at my death.

2nd. I will and bequeath to my beloved wife Jane all my Real and personal property of whatever kind, left by me at my death, all said property both real and personal she may keep and hold for her own use and benefit during her natural life, or she may will or deed it to any of my children as it seemeth right to her but to none else whatever.

Signed Sealed and delivered by me at East River and County of Pictou, this twenty second day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Seventy Seven.
