Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

I William Crockett, Farmer, resident of March Settlement Hopewell, County of Pictou, being this day sound in mind and memory and desirous of so disposing of and arranging my worldly/property as I consider best for the interests of my family do now make this my last Will and testament.

First. I will and ordain that all my just debts and expenses which may result from my illness shall be paid from the property owned by me, consisting of all the land owned by me, House and House furniture, Horses, cattle, sheep, farming Implements, i.e. provided always that my mother shall be kindly attended to and kept as comfortably by my said sister Margaret as duty requires and circumstances may permit. For carrying into effect this my last Will and Testament

I appoint as my executors James William Crockett and Roderick Fraser.

I hereby declare this to be my last Will and Testament and in witness thereof I now Subscribe Sign and Seal it in presence of

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of part of a page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of William Crockett late of Hopewell in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
