Photo is unidentified - possibly David Harper McFarlane and his wife Janet Webster McFarlane c 1890

David McFarlan was born 14 August 1837, St Andrews, Charlotte County, New Brunswick to Archibald and Elizabeth McFarlan. 

Janet Webster was born 11 September 1847 to James and Jannet Johnston Webster of Pictou, Nova Scotia. 

Janet and David were married in Pictou in 1868 and lived on Marine Street, Pictou, Nova Scotia. Daivd Harper McFarlan was an engineer.  Their children were: James Archibald, Robert Webster, George William, John Nesbitt, Elizabeth Mary, Elmyra Maud, William Henry and Daniel.  Both Janet and David died about 1927.
