Irene Frances MacFarlane

Pictou, May 2 - Irene Frances MacFarlane passed away today at the age of 14 years and 6 months.  She had been ill but a few days with scarlet fever.  She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert MacFarlane, Marine street, and one sister, one half-sister and three half-brothers survive.  Her death has saddened the community, in which she leaves many friends both young and old.  The funeral will be held on Sunday, and interment will be made in Haliburton cemetery.
