Written on back of photo - This snap was taken at Bella Williams last summer. Reading from left to right - Aunt Etta Leithead, Bella, yours truly & my mother.  Aunt Etta is Uncle Hiram's wife, in case you have forgotten.

Henrietta Elspeth McLeod was born in 1857 at Mt. Thom, Pictou, NS.  Henrietta or "Etta" married Hiram Hyde Leithead and they lived at Los Angeles, California where she died in 1944.

Hiram Hyde Leithead was born at Hardwood Hill, Pictou, NS to Janet McMinn Leithead and William Leithead.  Hiram and Etta left for Los Angeles after 1896 and he died in 1938.
