Estate of Joseph Crockett, late of Marshdale, Farmer, deceased, Testate

Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

Know all men by these presents, that I Joseph Crockett of Marshdale in the County of Pictou, Province of Nova Scotia, Farmer, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament.

First. I give and devise to my Grandson Joseph Anthony Crockett of Marshdale County of Pictou, a lot of land being in Section 18, Middle River of the County of Pictou and bounded as follows, on the North by lands of the late William Crockett on the east by ands of heirs of late Donald Chisholm on the south by lands owned by the heirs of the late John Crockett, and on the west by the main road leading from White Hill to Marshdale.

Second. I bequeath and devise to y wife Margaret Crockett all the rest and residue of my property real and personal owned by me, House, and House furniture, Horse, cattle, i.e. and all moneys invested in any way or deposited in Banks in my name.

Third. I appoint my son Daniel M.L. Crockett of Marshdale, County of Pictou, Executor of this my said last Will and Testament.

In witness whereof I the said Joseph Crockett, have to this my last Will and Testament signed name and set my hand and Seal this twenty second day of February A.D. 1892.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of Joseph Crockett late of Marshdale in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
