Dobbin Still Most Popular For Town Delivery

Only One Left - Shown here is the only horse delivery left in Pictou town in connection with a modern business.  John Blackie pauses a moment for the picture as he drives Ted, the black delivery horse.  Goldie, 10 years in the same delivery service, is used on alternate days.  Six days a week, excluding Wednesday afternoons, John Blackie with his two horses makes five trips each day to various sections of the town in the free delivery service of D.
