Estate of Daniel Creighton, late of Durham, Tinsmith, deceased, Testate

Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

I Daniel Creighton of Durham, County of Pictou & Province of Nova Scotia, being of a sound mind, considering the brevity of human life, do make this my last Will and Testament, viz -

I do devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Elizabeth all my real and personal property, to have and to hold during her lifetime, after her decease

I devise and give to my daughters Mary wife of Henry Matheson, Anna wife of Charles Stewart, Nancy Jane wife of William Douglas & Eliza my unmarried daughter, what may remain of the above property equally divided among them.

In the case of any of my daughters dying before my wife leaving no child nor children her portion to go to be equally divided among the living, but in the event of the deceased daughter leaving a child or children then the mothers share to go to her family.

I do appoint my wife Elizabeth Executrix and John W. McLellan Executor, the executors if they wish to sell Real Estate or personal property at any time they think best.

Fifth - I revoke all former wills by me made.

In testimony thereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal and publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in the presence of the witnesses this One thousand eight hundred and ninety four years. Dated the 30th January 1894.
