Will of Phoebe Conn, deceased
Certified Copy for Reg of Deeds
This is the last will and Testament of me Phoebe Conn of Westville in the County of Pictou Widow. I hereby revoking any former wills at any time made by me.
I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Douglas wife of James Douglas or her children in event of her predeceasing me one feather bed, one bolster, two pillows and one hundred dollars lawful money of Canada
I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Calder wife of David Calder or to her children in event of her predeceasing me one feather bed, one bolster, two pillows and one hundred dollars lawful money of Canada
I give and bequeath to my daughter Margaret Conn the sum of three hundred dollars lawful money of Canada and all my household furniture of whatsoever nature or description
I direct my executors to pay all my just debts funeral and Testamentary expenses as soon as conveniently may be after decease.
I bequeath to my three sons William, James, and David share and share alike all my ready money including money in the hands of my banks or of me subject to the above mentioned bequests and should any of the them my sons predecease me then said money shall be divided equally between the survivors
I direct my executors to sell and dispose of all my real estate as soon as may be after my decease and to divide the proceeds share and share alike between my three sons William James, and David or the survivors of them whom I bequeath the money or moneys realized from such sale
I nominate and appoint my sons James and William to be executors and Trustees of this my Will.
In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand this 21st day of December A.D. 1901. (22nd is scratched out and 21st added, August is scratched out and December added, 1899 is scratched out and 1901 added - initialed)

Signed published and declared by the above named Phoebe Conn Testatrix as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us both present at the same time who at her request and in her presence have subscribed our names as witnesses. The said will having been read over and explained who stated she understood its contents.

I John D. McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true and correct copy of the last Will and Testament of Phoebe Conn late of Westville in the County of Pictou Widow deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the seventh day of January 1902.
