The land that Isabella purchased from her siblings (the Indenture is uiploaded to this database) included the "Toney Mills" gristmill and sawmill built by her grandfather, Alexander McRae, and operated by her uncles, John and Roderick McRae. It is believed her mother received this parcel of land from her father, Alexander McRae, at the time of his death in February 1876. Isabella died young (age 47) on December 12, 1899. She is buried with her parents at Riverbank Cemetery at Toney River.
