Estate of Margaret Clarke, late of New Glasgow, Spinster, deceased, Testate
Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
I Margaret Clarke of West New Glasgow in the County of Pictou being in ill health but of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make and publish this my last Will and testament in manner and form following -
First, I hereby revoke all former wills and codicils by me at any time heretofore made
Second, I hereby constitute and appoint Alexander Fraser Downie of New Glasgow, Merchant to be Sole executor of this my said last Will and Testament.
Third, I direct my Sole executor to sell my household furniture and so much other of my personal property as shall be necessary to pay my just debts and funeral expenses, and such other debts as may accrue in the winding up of my estate.
Fourth, I will and direct that my executor shall rent or lease the property I am now living upon for a period of five years from the day of my death and no longer for the best rental he can secure.
Fifth, I will and bequeath to Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church of New Glasgow to be disposed of as the pastor may direct so much of the rents and profits as may be left from the rental of my property for a period of five years dating from my death as shall be left after paying any expenses that may from time to time accrue in the winding up of my estate or otherwise.
Sixth, I will and bequeath to William Price, who is now living with me all my real estate for the remainder of his natural life, and after the death of the said William Price, my said estate shall go absolutely in fee simple to the oldest child living of the said William Price, at his death and if the said William Price have no child living at his death or issue of child living, then my said Estate shall go to the oldest son of James McKenzie, or if the said oldest on of the said James McKenzie be dead before the said William Price, and William Price have no children, my property shall be disposed of by my executor ad the proceeds go to Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church of New Glasgow.
Seventh, I will and direct that Catherine McKenzie now living in Boston in the United States of America Spinster, shall have exclusive use of the front room down stairs and one bed room up stairs in my house as long as the said William Price remains unmarried.
In witness whereof I have hereunto my hand and Seal this fourteenth day of February A.D. 1888.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of two pages, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of Margaret Clarke, late of New Glasgow in the County of Pictou, Spinster, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
