Estate of William Carson, late of Scotsburn, Merchant, deceased, Testate
Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
In the name of God, Amen. I, William Carson of Scotsburn, County of Pictou, and Province of Nova Scotia, hereby do make my last Will and Testament. Firstly- I will bequeath and devise to my wife Janet my lands at Scotsburn, aforesaid, with the appurtenances. To have and to Hold the said premises with the appurtenances to her the said Janet my wife and to her heirs and assigns forever. I also give the said Janet my wife all other property real and personal belonging to me.
I ordain and appoint the said Janet and John Roderick McDonald, Miller, of Scotsburn aforesaid to be the Executors of this my last Will and Testament.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto my hand and Seal and published and declared this to be my last Will and Testament in the presence of the Subscribing witnesses. This Eleventh day of July in the Year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and Eighty four.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of William Carson late of Scotsburn, in the County of Pictou, Merchant, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
