Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds This is the last Will and Testament of Peter Carroll of Pictou in the County of Pictou, Auctioneer.

I Peter Carroll of Pictou in the County of Pictou, Auctioneer, do hereby make publish and declare this to be my last Will and testament, hereby revoking and declaring null and void any and all former wills and testamentary dispositions by meat any time heretofore made.

I do hereby constitute and appoint my said beloved wife Mary Carroll Sole Executor of this my said last Will and Testament.

I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Katherine Jane Carroll the organ now in the house in which I live at Pictou. I give devise and bequeath all the rest of the residue of my personal property of every nature and kind and all my real Estate wheresoever it may be situate belonging to me at the date of death absolutely to my wife Mary Carroll her heirs and assigns forever.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my Seal this eighth day of December in the year of  our Lord one thousand Eight Hundred and ninety four.

Signed Sealed and executed as and for his last Will and Testament by the said Peter Carroll in the presence of us, each of us being present together at the time when he affixed his signature thereto, the same being first read over and explained to the said Peter Carroll who seemed perfectly to understand the same.
