Tates – Galary – On the 23rd April, by the Rev T Cumming, pastor of St Joseph St. Church, Montreal, Mr John Tates to Miss Jane Galary, both of St. Henri, Montreal.

DIED

Fraser – At Bridgewater, E R, on 12th ult, Margaret McDonald, widow of the late James Fraser, aged 68 years.

Simpson – At French River, April 9th, Henry Simpson, aged 23 years.

Boyd – At Whitesboro, Cal, March, March 5th, Florence Ivy, Daughter of D R T R and Mary A Boyd and niece of D Urquhart formerly of Pictou, aged 1 year and 9 months.

Bailie – At Saltsprings, on the 27th ult of inflammation of the lungs, Janet Marion, second daughter of Mr Robert Baillie, in the 18th year of her age leaving a large circle of friends to morn her loss.

Chrichton – At Canning, Kings Co, on the 16th ult, after a short illness, P R Chrichton, Esq, formerly of Pictou, in his 41st year, deeply and universally lamented.

Rogers – At New Glasgow, on the 18th inst, John George, youngest child of James and Mary Rogers aged 18 months.

McDougald – On the 18th inst, at Merigomish, Donald McDougald, age 89 years.

McIntosh – At West Branch E R, on the 28th April, after a short but severe illness borne with Christian resignation Mrs Isabella McIntosh, widow of the late Mr Malcolm McIntosh, age 72 years.  She was a native of Inverness, and beloved “Mother of Israel.”

Fraser – At Wentworth Grant, April 14th of Palsy, Elizabeth Fraser, in the 78th year of her age, widow of the late Alex. Fraser
