Will of Adam Campbell, deceased
Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou
The last will and Testament of Adam Campbell of Scotsburn in the County of Pictou, Farmer I Adam Campbell knowing the uncertainly of this mortal life and being of sound disposing mind and memory do hereby make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say
1st. I hereby constitute and appoint my two cousins William G. Campbell and George William Campbell both of Scotsburn aforesaid Farmers to be executors of my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made.
2nd. I will grant and devise to my beloved nephew Robert Cleaver Campbell the eldest son of my late brother Howard McL Campbell all at Scotsburn that farm on which I now reside being the same land and premises on which my late parents lived for many years and died to Have and To Hold the same to him the said Robert Cleaver Campbell his heirs and assigns forever, subject however to the payment of my just debts and funeral expenses
3rd I give grant and devise unto my said nephew Robert Cleaver Campbell all the certain piece or parcel of land known as a grant to the Dean and Chapter in the County of Colchester such share or parts of the said grant of land as I may acquire or possess at the time of my death To Have and To Hold the same to him the said Robert Cleaver Campbell his heirs and assigns forever
4th. I give grant and bequeath to my beloved sister Jane the widow of the late John Baylie deceased a home on the said homestead and farm for the term of her natural life provided she remains unmarried
5th I also give grant and bequeath the sum of one hundred Dollars for the erection of a monument to mark the graves of my parents and the other members of our family interred in the Cemetery at Scotsburn
6th And lastly as to my personal estate including farm stock farming implements crops household furniture money in the Bank debts due and owing to me and all my other personal property of whatsoever nature or description all of which I give grant and bequeath to my said nephew Robert Cleaver Campbell his heirs and assigns forever.
In witness whereof I the said Adam Campbell have hereunto my hand and Seal subscribed and set this day of in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety two

I John D. McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true and correct copy of the last Will and Testament of Adam Campbell late of Scotsburn in the County of Pictou Farmer deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the twentieth day of March 1905.
