Estate of William Cameron late of Mount Pleasant, Carpenter, deceased, Testate
Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
In the name of God Amen. Know all men by these presents that I Wm. Cameron of Mt. Pleasant Wet River, County of Pictou & Province of Nova Scotia, Carpenter, being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my last Will and testament.
1. I give and bequeath to my son Daniel all the land property that I own, to have and to hold the same, with exception below specified, with the appurtenances to him the said Daniel Cameron and to his heirs and assigns forever together with all my farming implements for his use and behoof. Also my Carpenters tools, and my Gaelic Bible and books.
2. I give and bequeath to my son John the sum of One dollar.
3. I give and bequeath to my granddaughter Katie Colquhoun Cameron one Sheep.
4. I give and bequeath to my son James Duncan one Cow.
5. I give and bequeath to my son Murdo one Cow.
6. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Betsey the house we now reside in and garden attached, during her natural life, all the household furniture for her own exclusive use and the benefit of her two sons when they be here until they have houses of their own, together with the grey mare, also two cows and four sheep, and half dozen hens.
I give and bequeath the remainder of my stock to my son Daniel also my Eight day clock.
I appoint and order that Daniel inconsideration of the property willed him give my wife Betsey each year during her lifetime two hundred pounds wheaten flour, three hundred pounds of oatmeal, thirty bushels of potatoes, one hundred pounds good beef, six pounds tea, and provide her with fuel for one fine pace, and one pair of books yearly an also feed her above mentioned stock. I appoint and ordain Mefsrs. Roderick McKenzie and John R. Ross Executor of this my last Will and Testament.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my sign and Seal and publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament in the presence of the witnesses named below this fifteenth day of July one thousand eight hundred and seventy nine years.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one and part of a pages, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of William Cameron late of Mount Pleasant in the County of Pictou, Carpenter, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
