Durham Bridge
A steel, single lane bridge once crossed the West River in Durham. The photo was taken in 1930. The story and a half home of Alexander Cameron can be seen through the bridge. Cameron was the Durham postmaster and is listed as such in the Meacham 1879 Atlas. The large four square on the corner is also in the 1879 atlas and is the property of Isaac McLean, merchant.
The steel bridge was replaced with a double land concrete bridge around 2007.
The Alexander Cameron home still stands but the Isaac McLean home is gone.
