Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

In the name of God, Amen.

I John Cameron of Cariboo River in the County of Pictou, and Province of Nova Scotia being weak in body but of sound mind and memory thanks to God for it, and calling to mind the uncertainty of this life do hereby make this my last Will and testament this eighth day of January A.D. 1884 as follows, That is to say.

First of all I give and bequeath my beloved wife Margaret and my daughter Nancy, Peggy, and Misie all my personal and real estate, with the exception of with the exception of the two following bequeaths, namely

I give to my eldest daughter Christy widow of the late John McDonald ten acres of land on the upper end of the meadow along the South side of the Brook to extend down the Brook thirty six rods, and to extend South as far as requisite to make the ten acres.

And finally I give and bequeath to my son Alexander all the land on the Colquhoun lot that lies on the North side of the Brook from end to end of the said lot.

And I hereby revoke disallow and annul all other wills and testaments, ratifying this only as my last Will and testament.

I hereby appoint Angus and Alexander as my Executors to this my last Will and testament.

And I hereby publish and declare this to be my last Will and testament as witness my hand and Seal the day first above written.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page and part of a page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of John Cameron late of Cariboo River in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
