Estate of John Cameron late of Westville, Yeoman, deceased, Testate
Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
I John Cameron of Westville in the County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia, Yeoman, being of good and perfect mind and memory and knowing the uncertainty of time do make and ordain this my last Will and testament.
First and principally, I commit my Soul to God who gave it and my body to the earth to be buried with a decent Christian burial believing the same shall rise again at the general Judgement, and the effects with which God has been pleased to bless me, I give devise and bequeath as follows,
I give devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Isabella Cameron all the real and personal property which I own in the County of Pictou or elsewhere, comprising the lot of land on which I now reside with the buildings thereon, bounded and described as follows, Bounded on the South west by Irvine Street in said Westville village, on the Northwest by a lot of land owned by John L. Steele, on the Northeast by lands of Daniel Fraser and on the Southeast by a lot of land occupied at present by Alexander W. McLeod with all and singular the appurtenances thereto belonging together with the household furniture, fixtures, and furnishings, horse, cows, wagons, sleds and harness, books, papers, notes, debts due, and coming due, to her the said Isabella Cameron during the term of her natural life, or so long as she shall remain my widow, and at the decease of my said wife Isabella Cameron, or should the said Isabella Cameron cease to be my widow, then in either case all the before mentioned Real and personal property shall revert and be invested in my son Duncan William Cameron and his heirs and assigns.
I appoint my John McDougald of Westville in the said County of Pictou, Merchant, to be the Sole Executor of this my said last Will and Testament at the same time revoking all wills or testamentary disposition by me made heretofore.
In witness whereof, I the said John Cameron the testator have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and Seal this twenty eighth day of August in the Year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and eighty six.

The said John Cameron of said Westville on the day and year above mentioned signed and sealed this Instrument and published and declared the same as and for his last Will and testament and we at his request and in his presence, and in the presence of each other have our hereunto written our names as subscribing witnesses.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of two pages, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of John Cameron late of Westville, in the County of Pictou, Yeoman, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
