Estate of Alexander Cameron, late of Scotch Hill, Farmer, deceased, Testate
Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
In the name of God, Amen. I Alexander Cameron of Scotch Hill Pictou County, Province of Nova Scotia being weak of body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be given to God, calling unto mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make and ordain this my last Will and testament, that is to say, principally and first of all, I give and covenant my Soul into the hand of Almighty God that gave it, and my body I recommend at the discretion of my executors nothing doubting but at the general resurrection, I shall receive the same again, by the mighty power of God, and as touching such worldly estate, wherewith it has pleased God to bless me in this life, I give devise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form.
First. I give and bequeath to my beloved son John Duncan all my lands, houses, barns, farming implements, stock, monies to be enjoyed by him forever. From this my said property I give and bequeath to my dear daughters Mary Catherine, Flora Bell, and Maggie one cow a piece and three sheep a piece or each, to be theirs and for their Sole use forever. Besides I order and ordain that these my three daughters shall receive upon and out of my estate a sufficient maintenance until such times as they get married and no longer. My dear Son Neil I exclude with one shilling sterling.
To my dear son Simon I give out of the estate twenty dollars in Cash when demanded. To be my executors upon this my last Will & Testament I appoint Alex. McQuarrie Hardwood Hill and Duncan McMillan Scotch Hill.
And I ho hereby utterly discount all and every other former testaments, Wills, executors by me in any wise names, ratifying and confirming this to be my last Will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this eighteen day of February A.D. one thousand eight hundred and ninety.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one and a quarter pages, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of Alexander Cameron late of Scotch Hill in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
