Will of C. Dwyer, deceased
Certified Copy for Reg of Deeds
This is the last will and Testament of me Cornelius Dwyer of Pictou in the County of Pictou, Merchant
I give devise and bequeath to my wife Mary Dwyer the policy of Insurance I have upon my life in the Hartford Connecticut life Insurance Company and any other Policy of Insurance affected on my life the same to be realized by my executors and the survivors of them hereinafter mentioned and the moneys arising thereupon to be disposed in some good safe Banking institution doing business in Pictou at interest and the said interest arising there from as well as a portion or portions of the principal from this to have to be paid over to my said wife or to be expended for her use and comfort during her life as may be deemed expedient and this balance if any after her death to be paid over in equal shares to Bertha Dwyer wife of P Dodridge Dwyer and my daughter Ellen S B Dimock absolutely.
I give devise and bequeath unto my said wife Mary for her use for life all plates furniture household goods, chattels and personal property in and about my home and premises in the Town of Pictou and after her death I give devise and bequeath the same to be equally divided between the said Bertha Dwyer and Ellen S B Dimock share and share alike
All the rest and residue of any property real and personal of every kind and nature whatsoever and wheresoever situate I give and devise to same to the said Bertha Dwyer absolutely
I nominate and appoint my son P Oakridge Dwyer of the Town and County of Pictou Merchant and George H Elliott of the same place Barrister and their survivors of their executors as executors of this my Will.
I hereby revoke all former wills by me made heretofore made.
In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and Seal subscribed and set this twentieth day of January AD 1904.

Signed and Sealed by the said testator Cornelius Dwyer as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us at the same time who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as attending witnesses.

I John D. McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Cornelius Dwyer late of Pictou in the County aforesaid Merchant deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 9 day of April AD 1906.
