Pictou - Nita DesBarres, 76, died at her home, 75 Denoon Street, Saturday.

She was the daughter of the late Dr F W W DesBarres and Nita (Churchill) DesBarres, of Sackville, N B.  She was born in Halifax.

Surviving are two sisters, Marie (Mrs J E March), Weymouth; and Dorette (Mrs W B Bate), Ottawa.

A memorial service will be held later.
