Will of Wm Dunbar deceased

Certified Copy for Reg of Deeds

I William Dunbar of Lorne in the County of Pictou, N.S., Farmer, being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills at any time made by me.

 

I hereby appoint my sons John A Dunbar and Alexander Dunbar to be executors of my Will.

I hereby direct my said executors to pay all my just debts funeral and Testamentary expenses as soon as possible after decease.

I devise and bequeath to my son John A Dunbar my farm at West Branch Lorne being the north half of the homestead and containing sixty acres of land Provided however that my wife Margaret Dunbar during her life time shall possess one half of the house and have the whole use and occupation of such one half Provided further that the said John A Dunbar shall will and in a fond and substantial way and in a manner suited to her station in life support and entertain upon the said farm his other Margaret Dunbar during her life, and shall during such time provide her fuel, suitable clothing and medical attendance nursing and drugs and shall in all things supply her comfort and warmth as freely as they are now supported.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 18 day of January A.D. one thousand nine hundred and six.

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of William Dunbar late of Lorne in the County of Pictou Farmer deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 23rd day of November AD 1909.
