Nita DesBarres, self proclaimed "Mad Potter of Pictou", born 1900, died 1976.

Nita was the daughter of Frederick and Stella DesBarres.  She had two sisters, Marie and Dorette.

Decorative Shell Shaped Bowl, resembles mollusk shell. 5 large cracks around interior.
