This Indenture made at Merigomish in the County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia 31st day of July, In the year of our lord one Thousand eight Hundred and Thirty seven, Between William Murray, Miller of New Annan of the one part and Walter Murray Senior of Merigomish in the County afforsaid, Yeoman of the other part.

Witnesseth, that for and in consideration of Fifteen Pounds lawful money of the Province afforsaid in hand paid to the said William Murray at or before the insealing and delivery of these presents, The receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged. He the said William Murray hath baragined sold released enfeffed and confirmed, and by these presents doth bargain sell release enfeff and confirm unto him the said Walter Murray Senior, his heirs and asigns forever One Hundred, Acres of land being the third hundred from Hatties side line fronting on the river running thence to the side line of the Eighty second grant. To have and to hold the afforsaid described primisses into him, the aforesaid Walter Murray his heirs Exectuors and Administrators and Asigns together within all this reversion and reversions rents issues profits and emaluments thereof or thereunto in otherwise appurtaining to his only proper use benefit and behaof and the said William Murray, hereby binds himself his heirs Executors and Administrators to warrent and defend the said premsises into the said Walter Murray him and each of his heirs Executors and Administrators and Assigns against claims or claims being lawful or any person or persons whomsoever

In witnesseth whereof the said William Murray have his name subscribed and seals affixed this day and year first above written.

Pictou} on this the second day of August one Thousand Eight Hundred and thirty nine David Murray Senior appeared before me the subscribing Magistrate in and for the County of Halifax and declared on oath that he is one of the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing deed of Indenture and that he saw the s-- signed sealed and delivered for the purpose therein contained
