James Andrew Laird born 8 December 1883, Medford, Middlesex, MA to Rachel MacKenzie Laird and George Laird.  He married Helen Borden.  James died in November 1952, Boston, MA.

Sydney Gordon Laird born 4 April 1885, Medford, Middlesex, MA to Rachel MacKenzie Laird and George Laird.  He married Florence Tomlinson.  Sydney died in March 1967, Santa Monica, CA.

James and Sydney were the first children of Rachel and George.  Their siblings were: George William, Charles Higby, Eric Sutherland, Nelso Allen, Helen Dorothea and Melville Russell.
