Barbara MacKenzie

Possibly Barbara MacKenzie born 5 Feb 1865 at Malagash, Cumberland County, NS to Jane MacKenzie and George McAuley MacKenzie.  Her mother Jane was the daughter of Alexander MacKenzie and Christina MacQuarrie MacKenzie of Waterside.  Barbara's father was George McAuley MacKenzie, son of Alexander MacKenzie and Barbara MacDonald MacKenzie of Cariboo River.  Barbara's parents moved to Malagash after their marriage. 

Children of Jane and George McAulay MacKenzie: Alexander, Christina, Annabelle, Barbara, Kenneth, Allan, John and George Neal. 

Barbara moved to Greenwood, British Columbia about 1899.  She never married.  She died at the age of 43 from Typhoid.
