Estate of George H. Davis late of River John Road, Farmer, deceased, Testate.
Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
In the name of God, Amen.
I, George H. Davis of River John Road, Pictou, being sick and weak in body, but of perfect mind and memory thanks be given to God, calling into mind the mortality of my body, and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make ordain this my last will, that is to say first of all, I give and recommend my Soul to God who gave it and my body to the earth to be buried in decent Christian burial at the discretion of my Executors nothing doubting but that at the general resurrection, I shall receive the same back again from God, and as touching such worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life. I give, and devise, and dispose of the same in the following manner. I give and bequeath to my dear beloved wife Jessie, my farm stock and farming implements, household goods, debts, and moveables to be hers and her heirs for ever.
I appoint to be my Executors, John Dryden, Westville, and Nathan Styles River John Road, of this my said last will, and I do hereby disallow, revoke, and disannul all and every other former testaments, wills, legacies, bequeath, and executors by me in any wise, named, Will and bequeathed, ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last Will and testament.
In witness whereof I have hereto my hand and Seal this twenty second day of December in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and eighty one.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, or thereabouts, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of George H. Davis late of River John Road in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
