I hereby certify that the within Instrument was registered at 11 A.M. of the day above written in Liber 43, Folio 469 on the oath of Daniel Henderson pursuant to law

This Indenture made this tenth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Fifty seven between John Robertson Donald son of Barneys River, Merigomish in the County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia, Blacksmith of the one part And Daniel Robertson his Brother of the County and Province aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth That the said John Robertson, for and in consideration of the sum of Twenty pounds of Lawful money of the Province aforesaid to him in hand paid by the said Daniel Robertson at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt where of is hereby, Have acknowledged, Hath granted Bargained, sold, Enfeoffed, Released, and confirmed, and by these presents, doth grant Bargain, sell, Release, Enfeoff and confirm.  Unto the said Daniel Robertson His Heirs and Assigns forever that certain lot piece or parcel situate lying and being on the East side of Barney's River abutted and Bounded as follows that is to say Beginning at stake and stones on the East side of the Public road there along the East side of said road Thirty rods to Archibald Walker Senior North line thence North East unto the rear of Donald Robertson Seniors Lot thence Thirty Rods North West thence a south West course to the place of Beginning on the East side of the Public road aforesaid containing Forty three acres more or less Together with all and singular, the Improvements thereon woods, ways, waters and water courses, with the river--- and rivers---, remainder and remainders, rents issues and profits thereof

and also all the Estate Right Title, Interest, Claim property and demand of him the said John Robertson which he now has or afterwards may have in or upon the same.  To have and to old the said lot of land and premises, with the appurtenances. Unto the said Daniel Robertson his Heirs and assigns, to use and their proper use, benefit and behoof forever and the said John Robertson do hereby for himself, his Heirs, Executors and Administrators, covenant promise, and agree, to and with the said Daniel Robertson, his Heirs, Executors, Administrators, and assigns the said lot of land and premises, against the lawful claims and demands of all, and every person or persons whomsoever, will warrant maintain and forever Defend. In Witness whereof the said John Robertson have hereunto his hand and seal subscribed and set the day and year first above written

Received the day of the date of the foregoing Indenture given the therein named Daniel Robertson the sume of Twenty pounds of current money of Nova Scotia, being the consideration money therein mentioned
