This indenture, made the 13th day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and Twenty between Christopher G. Langille of Brook Settlement in River John in the County of Pictou Nova Scotia Farmer. George Langille of Brook Settlement in River John in the County of Pictou and Province aforesaid Farmer of the other Part. Witnesseth, that the said Christopher G. Langille and wife for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar of lawful money of the dominion of Canada, to the said Christopher G. Langille in hand well and truly paid by the said George Langille at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof, is hereby acknowledged, Hath granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released, remised, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release and remise, convey and confirm unto the said George Langille his Heirs and assigns all that certain piece or parcel of land situate lying and being in the settlement of River John in the County of Pictou and Province aforesaid and Abutted bounded and described as follows that is to say: Beginning at a stake the south eastern angle of a lot of land granted to one Logan and thence running north thirty five degrees east along the south eastern boundary of the same chains to the while thence north forty five degrees west twelve chains and fifty links to a small fur on the south eastern boundary of a lot of land belonging to John McCabe thence south thirty five degrees West along the same forty chains to the north eastern boundary of the Meings Grant so called, and the south east angle of the said McCabe’s lot and thence south fifty degrees east twelve chains and fifty links to the place of beginning containing fifty acres more or less being a lot of land deeded to the said Nathan Langille and Stephan Brigney Cojointly by John McCabe and being dated the 21st day of September A.D. 1872 and registered in the registry of deeds at Pictou in Book 70 pages 384 and 385 together with all and singular the Building, easements, tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances to the same belonging, or in anywise appertaining with the reversion and reversions, remainder and remainders, rents, issues, and profits thereof, and all the estate, right, title, interest, claim, property and demand both at law and in equity of Christopher G. Langille of, in, or our of the same or any part thereof. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said Land and Premises, with the appurtenances and every part thereof, unto the said George Langille his heirs and assigns to their sole use, benefit, and behoof forever. And the said Christopher G. Langille for himself Heirs, executors, administrators, doth hereby covenant, promise and agree to and with the said George Langille heirs and assigns in manner following, that is to say: that it shall be lawful for the said George Langille and his heirs and assigns from time to time hereafter peaceably and quietly, to enter into the said Lands and premises, and to have and to hold, occupy possess and enjoy the same without the lawful let, suit hindrance, eviction, denial, or disturbance of from or by the said Christopher G. Langille or any person or person whatsoever, lawfully claiming or to claim the same. And also that the said Christopher G. Langille Hath a good, sure, perfect, and indefeasible estate of inheritance in fee simple in the said Land and premises, and good right, full power, and lawful authority to sell and convey the same, in manner and form as they are hereby sold and conveyed and mentioned or intended so to be, and that the same are free form incumbrances. And lastly that the said Christopher G. Langille and his Heirs, the said Land and Premises, and every part thereof, unto the said George Langille and his heir and assigns, against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever, shall and will be these presents WARRANT and forever DEFEND.
In witness whereof, the said parties to these presents have hereunto set their hand and affixed their seals the day and year first above written.

Be it remembered that on this 13th day of October A.D. 1920 before me the subscriber, personally came and appeared Luind Langille and Christopher Langille mentioned in the foregoing indenture, who having been by me examined separate and apart from her said husband, did declare and acknowledge that she executed the said Indenture, as and for her free act and deed, freely and voluntarily, without fear, threat or compulsion of, from or by her said husband, and for a full release of all her claims to the lands therein mentioned.
