Description Bill of Sale James Fraser to William McLeod

Know all men by these presents That I James Fraser of Mill Brook in the County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia for an in consideration of the Sum of Eighty dollars to me paid by William McLeod of Pleasant Valley in said County do hereby Grant sell and convey to the said William McLeod the following personal property.

All that certain quantity or lot of Hay now being in my barns at Mill Brook in all about ten tons more or less Warranted free of incumbrance and against any adverse claims and do by the presents deliver over to him the said William McLeod the said personal property as herein described.

Witness my hand and seal at Westville in the County of Pictou this 18th day of January 1890.

Signed, sealed and delivered in the presence of James McLeod

James McLeod a subscribing witness to the foregoing Bill of Sale came before me the ______ Daniel Munroe Justice of the Peace in and for they county of Pictou made oath and said that he was personally saw James Fraser Singed sealed and delivered the same for the personal therein contained.

Which I hereby certify to at Westville this 18th day of January A.D. 1890

I James Fraser make oath and say that the personal property sale and privileged by me to the Within named William McLeod has been sold and conveyed in good faith and the amount specified is justly alone to the and not for the purpose of aforesending any person or persons Sworn to before me this 18th day of January A.D. 1890
