Description Deed Charles Gallant to Anthony Blazek

This indenture made this thirteenth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety Between Charles Gallant of Pictou in the County of Pictou Hotel Keeper and Saraphrine Gallant his wife of the one part and Anthony Blazek of Pictou in the said County Saloon Keeper of other part. Witnesseth that the said Charles Gallant and Saraphrine Gallant his wife for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars of lawful money of Canada to them in hand well and truly paid by the said Anthony Blazek at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged Have and each of them hath granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released, remised, conveyed and confirmed and by these presents DO and each of them doth, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release, remise, convey and confirm unto the said Anthony Blazek his heirs and assigns all those certain lots, pieces or parcels of land situate lying and being on the east side of Crichton Street in the town of Pictou in the County of Pictou abutted bounded and described as follows: first Beginning on the east side line of Crichton   thirty feet distant from the south west corner of a lot of land now or formerly in possession of one John McPherson thence running southwardly along the east side line of said street twenty five feet thence eastwardly at a right angle with the east side line of said street thirty seven feet or until it comes to the west side line of a lot now or formerly belonging to the General Mining association thence northwardly along said line twenty five feet and thence westward at a right angle to the place of beginning. Second beginning at the east line of said Crichton Street at the south west angle of a lot of land now or formerly belonging to John McPherson thence Southwardly along the east line of said Crichton Street thirty feet or until it comes to the north west angle of the above described lot thence eastwardly along the North line of the said Lot of thirty seven feet or until it comes to the west line of lands now or formerly belonging to the General Mining Association thence Northwardly along the said last name West line thirty feet or until it comes to the south east angle of the aforesaid McPhersons lot thence Westwardly along said lot thirty seven feet or until it comes to the place of beginning being the same lots of land as conveyed to the said Charles Gallant and wife by Angus McInnis and Daniel Smith by Indenture dated the twenty seventh day of November A.D. 1878 and recorded at Pictou in Book 22 page 174 together with all and singular the houses, outhouses, barns, buildings, ways, waters, watercourses, easements, privileges to the said lot or parcels of land belonging or appertaining with the reversions and reversions remainder and remainder, rents, issues and profits thereof and also all the estate, right, title, interest, property, claim and demand whatsoever both at law and in equity of them the said Charles Gallant and Saraphrine Gallant his wife or either of them in right or dower or otherwise of into or out of the same or any part thereof: To have and to hold the said lots, pieces or parcels of land above described with all and singular the appurtenances unto the said Anthony Blazek his heirs and assigns to his and their sole use benefit and behoof forever And the said Charles Gallant and Saraphine Gallant his wife do hereby for themselves their heirs executors and administrator hereby covenant promise and agree to and with the said Anthony Blazek his heirs and executors and administrators hereby covenant premise and agree to and with the said Anthony Blazek his heirs and assigns in manner and form following that is to say that they the said Charles Gallant and Saraphrine Gallant his wife have good right full power and lawful authority to grant, sell, alien and convey the said lots pieces or parcels of land above described with the appurtenances in manner and form as hereinbefore granted and conveyed that the said Anthony Blazek his heirs and assigns shall and may at all times hereafter oeaceably and quietly have hold occupy possess and enjoy the said described lots pieces or parcel of land with the appurtenances and every part thereof without any manner or truble eviction hindrances or molestations of or from the said Charles Gallant and Saraphrine Gallant his wife or any other persons or persons lawfully claiming the same or any part thereof and also that the said Charles Gallant and Saraphrine Gallant and their heirs the said lots piece or parcel of land and premises hereby granted and conveyed or intended so to be unto the said Anthony Blazek his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims and demands of all and every person and persons whomsoever will warrant maintain and forever defend.
