Description Explosion at J.W. Jackson & Co.

"A violent explosion occurred at the drug store of Messrs. J.W. Jackson & Co., of this town on Thursday last which shattered the window and ceiling of the shop and did considerable damage. It was occasioned by setting fire to some sweepings which had accumulated in the stove and which possibly contained some explosive material."
