Description Deed John Neil Grant to Barry MacLeod

This indenture made the first day of October in the year of our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and thirty five. Between John Neil Grant of Six Mile Brook, Pictou CO, of the one Part, and Barry MacLeod of Six Mile Brook, Pictou CO, of the other part, Witnesseth that the said John Neil Grant for the consideration of the sum of one dollar of lawful money of the Dominion of Canada, to the said Barry MacLeod at or before the ensealing and delivery of THESE PRESENTS, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, has granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released, remised, conveyed, and confirmed, and by these presents hath grant, bargain, sell,, alien, enfeoff, remise, convey, and confirm unto the said Barry MacLeod Heirs and Assigns all that certain lot of land bounded and described as follows: Bounded on the North by lands owned by Bert McLeod, David G. McKenzie and Clarence Barry, said North line staring on the south bank of the Six Mile Brook, on the west by the estate of the late Alex L. Munro, on the south by lands owned by Daniel R. Robertson, on the East by the six mile Brook, containing 170 acres more or less together with all and singular the buildings, easements, tenements, hereditaments, Appurtenances to the same belonging, or in anywise appertaining, with the reversion and reversions, remainder and remainders, rents, issues, and profits thereof, and all the estate, right, title, interest, claim, property and demand both at law and in Equity of John Neil Grant of, in, to or out of the same, or any part thereof. TO have and to hold the said land and Premises, with the appurtenances, and every part thereof, unto the said Barry MacLeod his Heirs and Assigns to his and their sole use, benefit and behoof forever. And the said John Neil Grant for his Heirs, executors, and administrators, doth hereby covenant promise and agree to and with the said Barry MacLeod his Heirs and Assigns, in manner following, that is to say: That it shall be lawful for the said Barry MacLeod his Heirs and Assigns, from time to time, and at all times hereafter, peaceably and quietly, to enter into said Land and Premises, and to have, hold, occupy, possess and enjoy the same without the lawful let, suit, hindrance, eviction, denial or disturbance of, from or by the said John Neil Grant or any person or persons whomsoever, lawfully claiming or to claim the same. And also that the said John Neil rant has a good, sure, perfect and indefeasible estate of inheritance in fee simple in the said Land and Premises, and good right, full power and lawful authority to sell and convey the same in manner and form as they are hereby sold and conveyed and mentioned or intended so to be, and that the same are free from encumbrance. And lastly that the said John Neil Grant his heirs, the said Land and Premises, and every part thereof, unto the said Barry MacLeod his Heirs and Assigns, against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever, shall and will by these presents WARRANT and forever DEFEND.
