Description James Fraser to William Macintosh

This indenture made the sixteenth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty nine Between James Fraser of Saint Anns Cape Breton Island of the one part and William Macintosh of the Middle River of Pictou County of Halifax and Province of Nova Scotia of the other part geomean Witnessed that the said James Fraser for and in consideration of the sum of eighty pounds current money of said Province of to him in hand paid by the said William Macintosh at and before the ensealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and hath granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed released and confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell alien enfeoff release and confirm unto the said William Macintosh hid heirs and assigns forever all that contain piece or plot of ground situate on the said Middle River of Pictou and which is bulled and bounded as follows that is to say Beginning on the east bank of said Middle River Below the falls at the lower original corner of a certain William McKay and running from thence along his lower side East two hundred and sixty nine roads thence north one hundred and twenty roads or unseal it comes to the south side line of John Murray thence west along side line two hundred and sixty seven roads or until it comes to the said Middle River thence up stream to the first boundary of beginning the while whereof is surveyed and laid off to contain two hundred acres be the same more or less Together with all and every the improvement and appurtenances to the said pact belonging or in anyways hereunto appertaining the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders rents issues and profits thereof and all the profits right title interest claim and demand of sum of the aforesaid James Fraser into or upon the said premises and of every part and parcel thereof both at law and in equity to have and to hold the said plot or parcel or ground with all and sole use benefit and behoof of sum the said William Macintosh his heirs and assigns forever and the said James Fraser do hereby convent and agree to and with the aforesaid William Macintosh that at and before the signing and delivery of thee presents are and stand lawfully served of a good and sufficient estate in the afore described premises and have good right full power and lawful authority to sell and dispose of the same and of every part and parcel thereof in manner and form as is above and future that he the said James Fraser his heirs executors Administrators and Assigned will warrant and forever defend the said William Macintosh and his heirs executors and peaceable and quietly of all and singular the premises aforesaid and against the lawful claims or demands or any person or persons whomsoever claiming or pertaining to claim from or under them the said James Fraser his heirs or assigns under any pretence whatsoever In witness whereof the said James Fraser hath hereunto put his hand and affixed his seal day and date first within written.
