This Indenture made this eleventh day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty seven Between William McKeil of Pictou in the County of Pictou Trader on the one part and Allan A Ferguson of Pictou in said County gentleman of the other part:

Whereas the said William McKeil is unable as present to pay all his just debts and hath agreed to assign and all his estate unto Allan A Ferguson aforesaid in trust as hereinafter referred to

Now this Indenture witnesseth that the said William McKiel in consideration of the premises and the sum of one Dollar paid him by the said Allan A. Ferguson at or before the ensealing and delivery of them present the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged Hath granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released, remised, conveyed and confirmed and by these presents Doth grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release, remise, convey and confirm unto the said Allan A Ferguson his heirs and assigns All these several lots pieces or parcels of land situate lying and being in the town of Pictou in the County of Pictou abutted bounded and described as follows: — First that lot situate one the North side of North Street in the Town and County aforesaid and there measuring on hundred and fifty ten feet more or less, on the West by a new street and there measuring one hundred and fifty feet, East by a lot in possession of Watt and there measuring one hundred and fifty feet, and on the North by a lot in the possesssion of one Peter -- Lauchlire and there measuring one hundred and ten feet.  Second that lot situate on the West side of Elliot Street, bounded Eastwardly by said street Northerly by a lot in possession of Peter --Lauchlire, Westwardly by a lot owned by Duncan Murray and E. Watt and southerly by a lot of the said Duncan Murray.  Third, that lot situate on the North side of Water Street, bounded on the south by said Water Street, West by a lot owned by Jane Burton, Northly by a lot owned by one M'Kay, and East by a road heading to the landing.  Fourth that lot situate on North side of Church Street, bounded on the south by said Church Street, East by a certain lane North by a lot owned by James McDonald and West by a lot owned by James Skinner together with all and singular the houses, outhouses, barns, buildings, way, waters, watercourses, easments, privileges, and appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining, and the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders, rents, issues, and propts thereof and also all the estate, right, with interest, property claims and demand both at law and in equity of --- the said William McKiel of in to or out of the same or any part thereof To Have and To Hold the said lots of land and premises with the appurtenances and very part threof unto the said Allan A Ferguson his heirs and assigns forever upon the same trusts as for the same objects and intents as et out and contained in a certain Indenture or Assignment made in Duplicate, dated the fourteenth day of November A.D. 1887 and made by the said William McKeil of the first part, the said Allan A Ferguson of the second part, and the creditors of the said William McKeil of the third part, a duplicate of the said Indenture being on or about the day of the date hereof filed in the office of the Registrar of Deeds for the County of Pictou as on reference thereto will appear
