This Indenture made the Third day of May in the Year of our Lord one Thousand Eight Hundred and Forty Seven Between William McKeel of Carriboo, in the County of Pictou, Yeoman of the one part, and Nathaniel McKeel of River John Road, in the county aforesaid, Yeoman of the other part, Witnesseth that the said Willliam McKeel for and in consideration of the Sum of Five shillings of lawful money of Nova Scotia, to him in hand by the said Nathaniel McKeel at and before the ensealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt -- is hereby acknowledged, Hath granted, bargained, sold released and confirmed, and by these presents Doth grant, bargain, sell, release and confirm unto the said Nathaniel McKeel his Heirs and Assigns, forever, all that certain Lot, piece or parcel of Land, situate, lying and being on the North side of the River John Road (so called, and which is abutted and bounded as follows, that is to say, bounded on the West by William McKeel's Land, in the front by the said River John Road, on the East by a Lot of waste Land, and on the rear by Lands owned by the Messers Campbell of Tatamagouche, containing one hundred and fifty acres be the same more or less, together with all Houses, Outhouses, Barns, Stables, Buildings, Ways, Waters, Watercourses, Casements, Commodities, Hereditaments, and Appurtenances to the same Premises belonging, and all the Estate, Right, Title, Interest, Claim, Property and Demand of him the said William McKeel into and upon the same, or any part thereof, To Have and To Hold the said Premises hereby granted and sold, with all the Buildings, Improvements, Privileges and Appurtenances thereunto belonging unto him the said Nathaniel McKeel his Heirs and Assigns, to his and their own proper use, benefit and behoof forever.  And the said William McKeel for himself his Heirs, Executors and Administrators doth by these present grant, covenant, promise and agree to and with the said Nathaniel McKeel his Heirs and Assigns, in manner and forever following, That is to say, that he the said William McKeel is and now stands seized of a good and sufficient Estate of Inheritance in fee Simple of and in the Lands and Premises herein conveyed, and that he hath good right full power and lawful authority to grant sell and convery the same in manner and form as the same is herein and hereby conveyed or intended so to be, and that he the said Nathaniel McKeel his Heirs and Assigns shall and may at any time hereafter, and at all times peaceably and quietly enter into have, hold, occupy, possess and enjoy the same and every part thereof, without any let, hindrance molestation, eviction or disturbance from or by any person or persons, whatsoever claiming the same or any part thereof, and that he the said William McKeel and his Heirs the said Lands and Premises and every part thereof to the said Nathaniel McKeel his Heirs and Assigns, against the lawful claims and demands of all and every person and persons whomsoever shall and will warrant and forever Defend.

In Witness whereof the parties to these presents have hereunto set their Hands and Seals the day and Year first before written.
