Description Deed Robert Hutcheson to John Gilmore

This indenture made at the Albon Mines Nova Scotia, this twenty fifty day of July in he year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty five Between Robert Hutcheson of the Albon Mines and Mary his wife of the one part and John Gilmore of the same place of the other part Witnesseth that the said Robert Hutcheson and his wife Mary for and in consideration of the sum of twenty-one pounds of lawful money of Nova Scotia, to them in hand well and truly paid by the said John Gilmore, at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipts whereof is hereby acknowledged, Have granted, bargained, sold, enfeoffed, released and by these presents So grant bargain, sell, enfeoff, release, and confirm unto the said John Gilmore his Heirs, Executors, administrators and assigns, all that certain lots, pieces, or parcel of lands situated lying and being in the second division of Farm lot son the east side of the East River of Pictou, Beginning on the rear of the first division at an old hemlock tree, being the south western augh of a lot of land granted to a certain Margaret Fraser from thence to run south forty five degrees East one hundred and sixty roads to a stake of stones, thence south twentyfour degrees west thirtytwo roads to a stake and stones thence north forty five degrees west one hundred sixty roads to the rear line of the first division, thence north twenty four degrees east thirty two roads to the place of beginning containing thirty two acres more or less. Together with all and singular the houses out houses barns, stable, buildings, ways, waters, watercourses, easements, commodities, privileges and appurtenances, to the same belonging or in anywise appertaining to or with the same usually occupying or enjoying or accepting, reputed taken or Known as part parcel or member thereof, and his reversion and reversions remainder and remainders, rents, issues, and profits thereof and all the right title estate interest claim property and demand of them the said Robert Hutchison and his wife, Mary, which they now have or have after may have to in or upon the same- To have and to hold the said Lots piece of parcel of land and premises with the appurtenances into the said John Gilmore his heirs and assigns to his and their own proper use, benefit and behoof for ever- and the said Robert Hutcheson for himself, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns Doth by these presents grant, convent promise and agree to and with the said John Gilmore his Heirs, Executors, Administrators and assigns in manner and form following that is to say, that he the said Robert Hutcheson and his Heirs, the said Lot or piece or parcel of lands and premise with the appurtenances, unto the said John Gilmore his Heirs Executors, Administrators, and assigns against the lawful claims and demands of all and every person, and persons whomsoever will have and defend by these presents

Received on the day of the date of the foregoing indenture from the therein named John Gilmore the sum of twenty-one pounds being the full consideration money therein mentioned to be paid by him to me

On this twenty-fifth day of July in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and thirty five, before me this subscriber on his majesty’s justices of the peace of the county of Halifax Personally came and appeared Mary Hutcherson the wife of Robert Hutcherson named in the foregoing Indenture and being by me examined separate and apart from her said Husband declared and acknowledged that she freely and voluntarily and without force or compulsion from her said husband signed sealed and executed the said Indenture as and for here set and deed for the purpose therein mentioned.
