Estate of Walter Tanner late of Pictou, Yeoman, deceased, Testate

Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

This is the last Will and Testament of me Walter tanner of Carriboo within the County of Pictou, Yeoman.

I give all monies in my possession, and sums of money due, owing, or accruing due to me, unto my executors hereinafter named, for the purposes following, To pay all my debts and funeral and Testamentary expenses, and the balance if any to my son Robert in installments in the discretion of my executors.

I give devise and bequeath to my son Robert Clarke his heirs and assigns all the rest of my real and personal property of whatsoever nature and kind and wheresoever situate, subject to the conditions following, namely, that my said wife Ann shall always have during her natural life a home in and upon my real estate at Carriboo, wherein we at present live, and that said Robert Clarke shall always maintain and support my said wife, and keep in her all necessary attendance, food, and clothing.

I appoint William F. Tanner, and Charles E. Tanner, executors of this my last Will and testament.

I revoke all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.

In witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this nineteenth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Eighty five.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of Walter Tanner late of Carriboo, in the County of Pictou, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
