Estate of William Robertson late of Churchville, Farmer, deceased, Testate
Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
Know all men by these presents that I, William Robertson of Churchville ,in the County of Pictou, Province of Nova Scotia, farmer, being of sound disposing mind and memory do hereby make and publish this my last Will and Testament as follows viz.
First. I give and bequeath to my wife Ellen Robertson all my real estate situated at Churchville, also all my personal property of every kind which I now own or which I may own at the time of my decease for hr Sole use and benefit.
Secondly. If my grandson Newton who now lives with me, will continue to live with my said wife Ellen Robertson, and proves himself good, obedient, and dutiful to her as a son ought to do and be to a mother, then it is my will that she shall inherit all my property both real and personal at my said wife Ellen Robertson's decease.
But if my said grandson Newton, does not live with my said wife Ellen Robertson and refuses to live with her, and does not act towards her as a son ought to act to his mother, then in that case, it is my will that my youngest son John Robert shall inherit all my property both real and personal on the decease of my said wife Ellen Robertson.
Thirdly. It is my will and desire that my said wife Ellen Robertson and my said grandson Newton, shall treat and use my granddaughter Esther who now lives with me as a daughter and sister ought to be treated if she desires to live with them.
Lastly. I do hereby appoint John McKay of Fish Pools and Angus McMillan Esqr. of Churchville Executors of this my last Will and testament.
In witness whereof I hereunto Set my hand and Seal Sat Pictou, aforesaid this eleventh day of May, One thousand Eight hundred and Eighty.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one and a half pages, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of William Robertson late of Churchville, in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
Given under my hand at Pictou this first day of June A.D. 1881.
