THIS INDENTURE made the ____ day of August
in the year of Our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and Thirty seven.
Between Jessie S. Campbell of Pictou, in the County of Pictou, widow, hereinafter called the “Grantor”
of the one Part, and Charles Horace Campbell of Pictou, in the County of Pictou, hereinafter called the “Grantee”
of the other part,
Witnesseth, that the said Grantor
for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar
of lawful money of Canada to Grantor in hand well and truly paid by the said Grantee at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath remised, released, and forever quitted claim, and by these presents Doth remise, release, forever quit claim, unto the said
HEIRS and ASSIGNS, all that certain lot, piece or parcel of land, situate, lying and being in the town of Pictou in the County of Pictou abutted, bounded and described as follows: Beginning at the northeast corner of Union Street and its junction with the road leading from Pictou to the Beaches and running thence southerly along the east side line of said street forty-nine feet six inches thence easterly parallel to the northern said line of lots numbers eight and seven on a plan of lot made for one Edward. C. Dawson seventy two feet six inches more or less, thence northerly parallel to Union Street aforesaid fifty nine feet six inches more or less or to the Beaches Road aforesaid; thence westerly along the southern side of last mentioned Road sixty-nine feet six inches more or less or to the place of beginning; being and intended to be part of land conveyed to the Grantor herein by Deed as registered in Book 236, page 245 at the Registry of Deeds, Pictou
Together with all and singular the Easements, Tenements, Hereditaments, and Appurtenances to the same belonging, or in anywise appertaining with the reversion and reversions, reminder and reminders, rents, issues and profits thereof, and all the estate, right, title, claim, property and demand, both at law and in Equity of the said Grantor of, in, to or out of the same, or any part thereof. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, the said Land and Premises, with the appurtenances, and every part thereof, unto and to the use of the said Grantee, his Heirs and Assigns, to his and their sole use, benefit and behoof forever.

Be it remembered, that on this __ DAY OF __A.D., 19, before me, the subscriber, personally came and appeared ___wife of ___ mentioned in this foregoing indenture, who, having been by me examined separate and apart from her said husband, did declare and acknowledge that she executed the said Indenture, as and for her said husband, and her a full release of all her claims to the lands therein mentioned.
