“Know all men by these Presents that We Ebenezer McLeod and James McLeod both of the West River in the County of Pictou yeomen and held and firmly bound unto George Munro of Little Caribou Island in the County aforesaid yeomen administrators with the Will [amesed?] of the Estate of George Munro Senior late of the same place yeoman deceased in the sum of sixty pounds of lawful money of Nova Scotia to be paid to the said George Munro administrator as aforesaid or his certain attorney, his executors, administrators or assigns; for which payment to be well and truly made we bond ourselves our and each of our heirs, executors, and administrators jointly and severally firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals, dated this eighth day of march in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight Hundred and fifty two.

            The condition of this obligation is such that if the above bounded Ebenezer McLeod and James McLeod their or either of their heirs, executors, administrators or assigns or some or one of them do and shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said George Munro administrator as aforesaid his Executors administrators or assigns the paid and just sum of thirty pounds and of lawful money as aforesaid in nine months from the day of the date hereof with the interest to grow due there on from the day of the date hereof at and after the [writ?] of [seanomdo?] by the hindered by the year [with?] payment of the a hole principal and interest money above mentioned, without pause or further delay then the above obligation to be void otherwise to remain official price and virtue.
