Estate of Wm. Coswell, deceased
Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds
I William Coswell of Pictou in the County of Pictou Customs Officer do make publish and declare this my last will and testament, revoking all other wills, and testamentary dispositions by me at any time heretofore made.
I give, and bequeath to my daughter Ellen Coswell, all my household furniture, and furnishings, domestic utensils, and sewing machine now in my house to have and to hold the said sewing machine absolutely, and all the other articles mentioned and bequeathed so long as she shall remain unmarried, and shall live in the house with my son Walter Coswell, but temporary absence from the house of my said son Walter Coswell for any length of time shall not defeat this gift, or a right to a house, there as hereinafter directed, and in the event of the marriage of my said Ellen Coswell, or in the event of her death,
I give, and bequeath the same to my son Walter Coswell, his executors, administrators, and assigns I give, devise, and bequeath all the rest, residue, and remainder, of my personal estate, credits, and effects after the payment of all my lawful debts to my son Walter Coswell I give, devise, and bequeath to my said son Walter Coswell, all my real Estate, subject to the conditions that my daughter Ellen Coswell shall have a home in the house now belonging to me so long as she remains unmarried, and desires it and also that my beloved wife Ellen Coswell shall have a home in the said house so long as she desires it
It is also my wish, but this clause is not a condition to any devise, or bequeath made herein that my sons William Coswell and Walter Coswell be welcome to the hospitality of the home devised to my son Walter Coswell as usual during my life time
I hereby appoint John Yorston of Pictou Registrar of Deeds to be executor of this my last will, and Testament
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand, and affixed my Seal this eleventh day of January A.D. 1909.

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of William Coswell late of Pictou in the County of Pictou Customs Officer deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 15 day of February 1909.
