Confesses between the same John McKinlay and the said Ebenezer McLeod for the sum of two hundred and two dollars.
Therefore it is considered that the said John McKinlay do recover against the said Ebenezer McLeod the said sum of two hundred and two dollars together with fifteen dollars nd fifty cents for his costs of suit.

Know all men that I John McKinlay of Pictou Esquire in consideration of Two hundred and seventeen dollars fifty cents debt and costs and all interests thereon due on a judgement [reeavened?] by [rue?] against Ebenezer McLeod of the West River [to me?] paid and hereby acknowledge have revise released and discharged and do revise release and discharge unto the said Ebenezer McLeod the said judgement debt costs interred and all claims by virtue thereof which judgement was reconvened 17th May 1862 and registered as above.
Witness my hand and seal this 20th day of March A.D. 1809

I DAIVD MATHESON, Prothonotary of Her Majesty’s Supreme Court of Judicature of the County of Pictou, in the Province of Nova Scotia, do hearby certify unto all whom it doth or may concern, that the foregoing is a true and correct extract and copy of the original Docket and Judgement in cause of John McKinlay against Ebenezer McLeod of the West River in the County of Pictou yeoman entered upon the Docket Book of Judgements of Her Majesty’s supreme court at Pictou in the Province aforesaid, Book 11 page 126 which Judgement was truly Entered, Docketed, and signed by me David Matheson at Pictou as Prothonotary of said Supreme Court, on the seventeenth day of May in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty Two for the sum of two hundred and seventeen dollars and fifty cents. Debt and Costs of suit.
Given under my Hand and the Seal of the said Supreme Court at Pictou this seventeenth day of May in the year of Our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty Two.
