Know all men by these present that I Sweeney Chisholm of New Glasgow in the County of Pictou being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament

Also as to my worldly estate and all my property and all the property real personal or unified of which I shall die seized and possessed or of which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease I devise bequeath and dispose doing in the manner following to wit.

I give to my beloved wife Elizabeth Chisholm for and during the term of her natural life then use improvement and income of all my real estate situated at said New Glasgow bounded southerly by McIntosh Street, westerly by lands of Duncan Campbell northerly by lands of said Duncan Campbell an lands of my son J Rod Chisholm and easterly by East River Road together with- all and singular the houses buildings barns and appurtenances to the same belonging or appertaining to have and to hold unto same to her for and during the term of her natural life

I also give to my said beloved wife Elizabeth Chisholm for and during the term of her natural life the use and enjoyment of all my personal property and effects of every kind and nature whatsoever To Have and to Hold the same to her for her own personal benefit with all the profits and increase that may arise or result thereupon for and during the term of her natural life

I give devise and bequeath to my daughters Catherine Chisholm and Ellen Chisholm equally from and after the decease of my said wife Elizabeth Chisholm the following described part of my said real estate at said New Glasgow to wit -

Beginning on the northern boundary of said McIntosh Street-at-the-point of intersection with the western boundary of said East River Road, Thence to run westerly along the boundary of said McIntosh Street- Eighty six feet or to a point -distant-twenty six feet-from the eastern side line of lands of Duncan Campbell, thence northerly parallel to said Eastern line sixty-five or to line of said Duncan Campbells lands. Thence Easterly along the last mentioned line until it crosses to the lands of my son J Rod Chisholm thence southerly along the lone of east-western lands eighteen feet. Thence easterly along the line of J Rod Chisholms lands fifty-feet- or to said East River Road thence southerly along this boundary of said East River Road seventy six feet- or to the place of beginning. Together with the houses buildings buildings barns and appurtenances To Have and To Hold the same to my said daughters Catherine Chisholm and Ellen Chisholm equally from and after the decease of my said beloved wife Elizabeth Chisholm and their heirs and assigns forever.

I give devise and bequeath to my son Alexander Chisholm from and after the decease of my said beloved wife Elizabeth Chisholm the following described part of my said real estate at said New Glasgow Beginning on the northern side of said McIntosh Street at the eastern line of said Duncan Campbells lands. Thence to run easterly along said McIntosh Street twenty six feet. Thence northerly parallel to said Eastern line sixty five feet or within line of said Duncan Campbells lands. Thence westerly along the last mentioned line until it crosses within said Eastern line thence southerly along the same in a straight line to the place of beginning together with the house buildings and appurtenances to the same belonging or appertaining To Have and To Hold the same to **my said son Alexander Chisholm from and after the decease of my said beloved wife Elizabeth Chisholm and their heirs and assigns forever.

All the rest and residue of my estate real personal and unified of which I shall die seized and possessed or to which I shall be entitled at my decease I give devise and bequeath to be equally divided between and among my said daughters Catherine Chisholm and Ellen Chisholm from and after the decease of my said wife Elizabeth Chisholm To Have and To Hold the same to them their heirs and assigns forever.

I do nominate and appoint my said daughter Ellen Chisholm and my friend John J Grant of said New Glasgow Carpenter to be the executors of this my last will and testament

In testimony whereof I the said Sweeney Chisholm have to this my last will and testament subscribed my name and affixed my Seal this twenty sixth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety three

I John D. McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that on this 11th day of October 1901 the will of Sweeney Chisholm late of New Glasgow in said County deceased was duly and admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou in said County of Pictou
